Turning Compassion Into Action

At Twins Alive Foundation, we believe that meaningful change begins with action.

Our projects translate our mission into practical interventions that protect vulnerable lives, support families, empower children and young people, promote dignity, and preserve the humanitarian legacy of Mary Mitchell Slessor.

From healthcare and education to food support, child protection, skills development and community awareness, our programmes are designed to respond to real needs within our communities.

MISS A MEAL CAMPAIGN

The Miss a Meal Campaign is an annual humanitarian initiative through which Twins Alive Foundation provides food to vulnerable and street-connected children.

For 48 days, individuals, families, organisations and volunteers are encouraged to make a personal sacrifice by missing a meal or contributing the value of a meal towards feeding children who may otherwise go hungry.

The campaign goes beyond food. It is about reminding vulnerable children that they are seen, valued and cared for.

EDUCATION & SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT

Education can change the direction of a child’s life.

Through our education and scholarship initiatives, TAF supports deserving children and less-privileged twins and multiple births whose circumstances may make it difficult to continue their education.

Our interventions may include educational assistance, scholarship support, learning materials and skills-development opportunities, subject to available resources and programme criteria.

FREE EYE SCREENING PROJECT

Good vision is essential for learning, development and everyday life.

Our Free Eye Screening Project brings basic eye screening and awareness closer to communities, particularly people who may have limited access to routine eye care.

The project seeks to encourage early identification of potential vision problems and promote appropriate referral for further examination and treatment where necessary.

We Don't Just Give. We Build Hope

Our projects are guided by five principles:

We listen to communities and identify genuine needs.

RESPOND

We develop practical interventions appropriate to the situation.

SUSTAIN

We seek to build programmes that can create meaningful and lasting impact.

How you can take part

Twins Alive Foundation implements humanitarian, welfare, advocacy and empowerment programmes focused on twins, multiple births, children, young people and vulnerable families.

Our projects cover areas such as healthcare, education, food support, child protection, skills acquisition, community awareness, menstrual health, humanitarian relief and the preservation of the Mary Slessor legacy.

Our programmes primarily support twins, multiple-birth families, vulnerable children, young people and families in need.

Depending on the project, other members of the wider community may also benefit from our health, education, awareness and humanitarian initiatives.

Project activities may vary according to community needs, available resources, partnerships and funding.

Follow our website, social media channels and official announcements for updates on current projects, campaigns and upcoming activities.
